Linux termcap issues.
« on: October 13, 2006, 08:55:08 AM »
PRODUCT: fileProPlus
SUMMARY: Linux termcap issues. Add :bs: to Linux. Add 'dumb' terminal.

DETAIL: :bs: is required  for dcabe (at least).
If you hit F9 for search and at some point  need to backspace the :bs: entry is required
(RH8 Linux & latest dcabe d/l Dec 5, 2003).
'dumb' is the termcap setting used by default cron jobs.
I just add 'dumb' into the heading of the Linux entry.
I shouldn't have to do this each time I install a Linux system.
