Can 4.5 run on SCO 5.0.7
Can I just upgrade my SCO Open Server 5.0.5 to 5.0.7 or will filePro have a fit?
I really like the hardware features in 5.0.7

As with all OS upgrades, it is best to backup critical applications and data prior to the upgrade.  Your version of filePro should work fine.  But you really should consider an upgrade to a currently supported version.

I have installed sco 5.0.7 running Filepro 4.5 and still have not overcome the issue with the termcap file, regarding updating and recording changes(details in an earlier post), would be interested if you have had any more sucess then I have.

out of curiosity, why would you spend the $$$ to upgrade o/s, but not on the critical database on it?

though you should be able to force 4.5 to run on 5.07, there are other bugs/known issues you'll come across that have long since been fixed, nevermind the new features you can take advantage of.
