Hi everyone.  I am Cindy Youngman currently with Luna Carpet.  We recently upgraded to the latest and greatest on linux.  We will be migrating our system from a 4.5 SCO Unix system.  I am currently running through the system to find issues and I have come across a strange problem.

I have many processes that use the system command to run rclerk to a different file or rreport for posting functions.  For some reason, rreport will just hang.  I can't break out or cancel except for CTRL \.  I tried running with debug and of course it ran fine.  I added an errorbox to add user interface, and it runs ok.  For some reason the original process with no errorbox will not run.

Has anyone else had this kind of problem?  Any ideas what could be wrong?

Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
Cindy

FYI I fixed this issue by adding a "close" statement before the rreport runs.  Something must have been locking the key but that doesn't explain why it would run fine with an errorbox inserted.  5.6 on linux must close files differently than 4.5 on SCO Unix.
