Using filePro on Linux box networked to window XP workstations.

Using Anzio 16 on a windows workstation we can do a print Screen from one XP workstation to a second XP workstation's printer.

But when we try to print a fp print templete from the fp print menu, it does not print on a windows workstation but it will print to the Linux server printer using the printer maintance description. |cat > /dev/usb/lp0.

That is where my problem is.  I am trying to send a requested to have fp print a ticket from the print menu and print it out to a windows workstation printer named office2.

The –PT flag is used on command lines to allow printing to a local printer if codes are in termcap entry, otherwise print to the screen

"printer local" redirects output to a printer connected to the user's terminal

PFPT=ON in the config file will also turn local printing on (AIX/LINUX/UNIX only).

Newer termcap files in /appl/fp have the proper local codes for most terminal types.

For ANSI type terminals, the termcap codes are:

PN=\E[5i

PS=\E[4i

Where do I enter -PT?  In the printer description in filePro printer maintance?

I am using Anzio Lite 16 as terminal emulater.  We are suppost to have passthrough printing with new release.

With the passthrough feature, I was hoping to not have to dig up print drivers.  My understanding  of this feature, passthrough, would read the printer, that I can see, and let Windows at that point use the windows printer devices to print the request.

I appreciate you help.
