Topic: Printer control from Vista

I have a client that has several work stations and several different types of printers some networked and some local.  We have defined all the printers in Filepro and used batch files for the short cuts to filepro that use the set pfprinter option to drive the printer for that work station.  The problem is that on a new Vista box that feature apparently doesn't work and it tries to use the printer that is default in Filepro which is not correct.  Is there another way to set the environmental variables in Vista?
