I am recreating my reports after having to reinstall filePro.  The help file said that to print the page number use @PN, for the date use @DT and for the number of records selected use @RS.  We all these print are the symbols but not the requested information.  Any ideas or help please here or at my email address n1api@cox.net

Also in order to save typing I am copying reports from one file area to the other and just modifying the information in them.  One thing I can't seem to change is the sort field from the original report.

I have many other questions because the setup that I'm replacing, (after a major), computer disaster goes all the way back to the original installation on a TRS80 Model 4 computer that was upgraded and updated throughout the years!  So expect to here from me from time to time with questions!

Thanks

Did you remember the field indicator ("*" or "!") in front of the field? (ie: !@PN)

Use F8 and then "S" to chgange the sort info.

I think that may be the answer.  I will have to try that.  I just used the @PN sign with no field indicator.
I did figure the sort information out by myself eventually.

Thanks for the help.   Now onto other problems!

There are no "problems", merely "challenges".   Smiley
