Dear Filepro Gurus,
   I need your help with an issue in Filepro 5.0.  I have a client who tries to do a weekly index rebuild and gets the following error;

A File Pro Error has occurred

Can't Rebuild Index

OnFile: /Filepro/dancust/Index.A

Invalid Index

Run Index Maintenance to Rebuild the Index

I've gone into the folder /Filepro/Dancust/Index.A and the Index.A file is there, and I have tried to rebuild the index.

Do you guys have any suggestions?

Thanks.

Doug,

The index is likely referencing a field that is invalid. Delete the index and then rebuild it. If a network version of filePro, you may also need to remove the lockfile before rebuilding the index.
