A filepro error has occurred
« on: November 05, 2007, 02:03:01 PM »
Firstly I dont know what version of filepro I'm running so i don't know if this is the thread i should be in.

I am running software called aljex and when someone tries to write or save to a file i get this error message:

A filepro error has Occurred
Define Files Function Running on this file
File not available.?
Somebody else is modifying the file; try again later.?

Please help.

define files is a development program so if in fact Aljex is in your system modifying files or programs there may be a legitimate reason you should not be in some file at the time.  if you are sure they are not in, however, see if they provided you with a utility to remove filepro lockfiles, and if so, run it.
