I have the license service running on Window's server--I have successfully started fplm_service--but the client computer is unable to connect.


If a client computer is unable to connect and fplm_service is started on the license server, the problem is one of two things.

1. The PFLMHOST variable is not properly set on the client

2. The server firewall is blocking the license port. Port 6556 is the default value for the license port.
