If someone wanted to run Win version of filepro - 5.0.15 or 5.6.anything off a removeable flash drive and have everything self contained on this drive, movable from machine to machine, could they?

A flash drive could be used if the fplm_service is installed on each of the machines and started after the flash drive is connected or by launching the fplmserver.exe (non-service version of the license server) after the flash drive is connected. In either case, the flash drive serial number needs to be used as the license check value.
