I'd like to know why fp 5.0.05K2D4 function @tm doesn't provide the correct time when the UNIX system date does.

This is a known issue and has been resolved in filePro 5.0.15.

You can download this release from our website.
You will need your serial number and the email address we have on file.

Please contact sales at 1.800.847.4740 if you need assistance in obtaining this information.

Note:  This is due to a change in when DST begins and ends starting in 2007.

Applying the appropriate patches to your Unix/Linux system will update the O/S itself, and its components (like the "date" command), but it will not affect existing statically-linked executables, including pre-5.0.15 versions of filePro.  filePro version 5.0.15, and filePro version 5.6 will use any DST-related patches applied to the system libraries.

Note that the Windows version of filePro is not affected.  If you have applied the Windows update for the DST change, filePro will use the new time.
