We just switched the filePro forum to Simple Machines Forum software.
A few things have changed, but overall this is a much nicer software package.

However, there has been a glitch in the conversion. Your private messages are here in the database, but they are not appearing in user inboxes.

We are working to resolve this issue and appreciate your patience.

If you notice any other areas not working properly, please let me know.

1) i don' t think this is faster than the older one - is it?
2) if you haven't been going up/down a few times today then there is something wrong because many times i could not access site
3) RSS feeds are not available with this software now?

disregard last part - RSS *is* working, just had to delete the one from the old forum first.

the speed is a problem though as attempts to post can timeout

Seems a little slower than it was but no where near a timeout issue...at least not on this reply to your message.

tried it on second computer - get occassional timeouts there, too.
of course both were IE7, so the phishing filter alone slows it down

I'll see if I can figure out what is going on or where to adjust the time-outs.
I hadn't noticed any problems, but I'm on firefox.

It took less than 3 seconds to come back to the forum after clicking "post".
